This weekend, I hosted my mother (whom I don’t see very often) at my house, where I indulged in my favorite pastime: Showing her movies I like. It’s a toughie, though; as the song says, parents just don’t understand, and sometimes your downstate-Illinois-local-Republican-volunteer mother simply won’t vibe with Everything Everywhere All At Once. (Which I get!)
What’s your usual movie-recommending strategy for moms, or parents/guardians in general? What are their media diets like? Do you have trouble recommending stuff to them without them thinking it’s boring or “weird”?
This one's for all the mommies in the world
